About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager at LexisNexis Legal & Professional will play a pivotal role in optimizing our digital channels and campaigns. This position requires a blend of individual initiative and collaborative teamwork to identify, design, implement, measure, and analyze performance metrics for data-driven strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving demand generation goals that align with our annual revenue targets, contributing to the overall success of the organization. In this role, the Digital Marketing Manager will leverage their previous experience in B2B digital marketing to strategize, refine, and scale a world-class demand generation program. The position involves proactive monitoring of website performance metrics, managing content updates, and executing technical SEO efforts in collaboration with global web development teams. The candidate will also utilize SEO tools to enhance keyword rankings while ensuring a positive user experience. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Manager will conduct ongoing data analysis to generate insights and recommendations across various business and engagement KPIs. This includes owning the monthly and quarterly reporting processes, analyzing customer journeys, and designing A/B and multivariate testing campaigns. The role requires exceptional project management skills to execute complex campaigns while effectively communicating insights and recommendations to key stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor website performance metrics to identify issues and opportunities, then manage the execution of changes.
  • Manage content, template, and page updates for all product pages with development and UX teams.
  • Manage technical SEO efforts including on-page improvements, URL structure, architecture, schema, and other components, working with the global web development team.
  • Use SEO tools such as BrightEdge and Screaming Frog to research, audit, and act on opportunities to improve keyword rankings while maintaining a positive UX.
  • Work with the Content Marketing Manager to streamline implementation of SEO best practices for content assets.
  • Partner with the Content Marketing Manager to proactively pitch industry influencers and websites to further amplify content and SEO value via backlinks.
  • Provide on-going and ad hoc data analysis to generate insights and recommendations across business and engagement KPIs.
  • Own the monthly & quarterly reporting process and escalate negative indicators.
  • Proactively monitor and capture insights from core demand generation KPIs.
  • Analyze and optimize the customer journey, utilizing a variety of data sources across channels, including ecommerce, organic website, paid media, email.
  • Partner with key stakeholders including digital SMEs, campaign managers, product marketing managers, product managers, and sales to communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Design, launch, and report on A/B, MVT, and personalization campaigns in tools with the partnership of front-end development team, UX designers and researchers.
  • Analyze test results, perform statistical significance testing to communicate lift and confidence intervals for the Primary KPI.
  • Sift through secondary metrics and segments to uncover hidden patterns and recommendations for targeting or future testing.
  • Generate analytically-sound test ideas based on data deep-dives, experimental design principles, UX/UI research, and behavioral economics.
  • Drive the testing backlog creation, prioritization, and roadmap, maintaining a test & learn calendar for transparent communication across internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing
  • 3+ years of high-tech B2B Marketing experience, particularly in SaaS environments
  • Experience with web content management and A/B testing
  • Proven success in SEO tactics
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Superior project management and organization skills to execute complex campaigns
  • Strong relationship, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Fullstory, AB Tasty, Brightedge, Screaming Frog, or SEMrush is a plus.
