About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of website content, performance tracking, and supporting the overall digital marketing strategy at Sarah O. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance the brand's online presence and drive e-commerce success through effective digital marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy in partnership with the Director of Marketing.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer experience teams to maintain and evolve the Shopify e-commerce website.
  • Create and maintain a promotional calendar, prepare products for merchandising, and generate promo codes.
  • Manage relationships with external development resources to enhance website features and functionality.
  • Work with SEO partners and content teams to implement effective SEO strategies.
  • Monitor and report on website analytics using Google Analytics.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools to optimize marketing initiatives and website performance.
  • Engage with marketing tech tools like Klaviyo and Mailchimp to attract and convert audience segments.
  • Understand the overall digital strategy and its impact on website performance.
  • Maintain awareness of the marketing ecosystem and update the site accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to ensure effective website management.
  • Update digital standards in collaboration with the Brand Manager.
  • Create workflows to keep the website up to date.
  • Manage integrations with supporting software to track media and inbound traffic.
  • Evaluate online media campaigns with the Director of Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required.
  • Five or more years of experience in digital marketing and advertising.
  • Understanding of website development and Content Management Systems.
  • Well-versed in using social media as a marketing tool.
  • Knowledge of website metrics and best practices.
  • Experience with search engine optimization, lead generation, and email marketing.
  • In-depth understanding of paid digital marketing, including Google and social media ads.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to interact positively and respectfully with colleagues.
