About the position

Groot Hospitality is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across various channels. This role requires a strong understanding of current marketing tools and strategies, as well as the ability to lead integrated campaigns from concept to execution. The Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate with the marketing team and report to the Senior Marketing Manager, working closely with social media key players, website developers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Email Marketing, YouTube, SEO/SEM, and more.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies (e.g., Snapchat & TikTok Ads).
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Weekly governing and monitoring of all Groot Hospitality websites.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for the adoption of new systems.
  • Work occasional odd hours for holidays, local market events, festivals, and pop-up events.
  • Coordinate with the Social Media Marketing team for daily communication needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-6 years of marketing experience working with hospitality & entertainment groups.
  • Ability to work with all personality types even in adverse situations.
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with others.
  • Well versed in project management within a team setting.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media marketing, and traditional marketing.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well versed in managing multiple projects and recommending/implementing effective solutions.
  • Numerically literate, comfortable with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication.
  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field.
