About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager at eHealth will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing large-scale SEM campaigns across various health insurance products. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive audience engagement and campaign performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing SEM strategies, managing ad copy creation, and analyzing campaign data to ensure effective marketing practices that align with eHealth's mission of connecting consumers with affordable health insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex, large-scale SEM campaigns including keyword research and expansion, ad copy creation, campaign performance tracking, testing and landing page optimization.
  • Develop SEM strategies and consumer journeys to acquire audiences for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplemental, Individual & Family, Small Business, and Multicultural.
  • Lead all stages of copy creation, partnering with the agency to write copy and manage legal/compliance filings.
  • Drive creative excellence on A/B testing, ad rotations, and ad rank improvements.
  • Partner with marketing audience strategy and product teams on landing page improvements and testing for paid search.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on SEM opportunities to drive efficiencies and growth.
  • Set, track, monitor, and optimize against annual and quarterly budgets.
  • Analyze and assess the performance of online advertising campaigns and translate data into recommendations for campaign strategy revisions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to react to changes quickly and decisively.
  • Gather customer data to better segment and target personalized messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large scale, multi-million-dollar SEM campaigns with a demonstrable track record of success.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Experience with SQL and data feeds is a plus.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional partners at all levels.
  • Strong analytical acumen and project management skills.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience in the direct-to-consumer space.
  • Comfortable giving short presentations and reporting data analysis to different audiences.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment.
