About the position

Hunter Communications is seeking an ambitious and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of its marketing strategy. This role focuses on online marketing strategies and campaign execution while overseeing local partnerships and community engagement events. The Digital Marketing Manager will assist the Vice President of Marketing in creating, implementing, tracking, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, ensuring the company's presence both online and in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategy, including content development and scheduling.
  • Manage paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Optimize website content and landing pages for SEO and user experience, tracking organic traffic through analytics tools.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, automation, and performance reporting.
  • Manage the company's online reputation by responding to reviews and messages on various platforms.
  • Stay updated with digital marketing trends and best practices to improve online marketing efforts.
  • Serve as the company's spokesperson for media interviews and public relations matters.
  • Assist with managing community partnerships and local events.
  • Support internal communications to align employees with external messaging.
  • Collaborate with sales teams on digital lead generation efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in website maintenance and content management, preferably with WordPress.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms like Constant Contact or MailChimp.
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns with a strong understanding of keyword research and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising and analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance tracking using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Capacity to work 2-4 evening/weekend events per month.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. for event setup.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Adobe Creative Suite.
