About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager for Toyota's Marketing Operations team is responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative digital marketing strategies. This role focuses on enhancing the online vehicle shopping experience and aligning digital efforts with broader strategic objectives, such as the SmartPath initiative. The manager acts as a product owner and thought leader in digital trends, driving digital innovation and transformation to position Toyota as a market leader in digital customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of vision and strategies to support Toyota's goal of providing a seamless digital shopping experience.
  • Lead efforts to enhance and integrate the SmartPath shopping experience across Toyota.com and MyToyota.
  • Collaborate closely with OneTech and various business partners to ensure technical infrastructure supports seamless deployment of digital solutions.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the integration of digital tools, ensuring alignment with Toyota's strategic objectives.
  • Establish workback schedules and maintain communication with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and manage team members, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
  • Set clear priorities with the team, allocate resources efficiently, and manage projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Work closely with the analytics team to gather data and optimize the digital experience.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather insights and implement testing methodologies.
  • Lead communication across the enterprise to ensure alignment on digital initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in product ownership and project management in digital marketing or related fields.
  • Experience with digital marketing and website management.
  • Experience interfacing with high levels of management, advertising agencies, and consultants.
