About the position

The Digital Strategist will be responsible for maintaining and developing the company's suite of websites while analyzing and managing relationships with digital media partners. This role involves collaboration with both executive and dealership teams to enhance digital initiatives and drive online lead generation and conversion. The ideal candidate should possess a proactive attitude and a strong passion for digital marketing.

Responsibilities

• Explain digital concepts to an array of different digital knowledge levels
• Provide consultation, direction, and training for internal stakeholders
• Develop new ways to increase online lead generation and conversion
• Provide monthly reporting to the executive team
• Stay ahead of the curve with automotive digital trends and overall digital industry trends
• Manage relationships with digital partners
• Establish goals and metrics to measure digital success, growth, opportunities, and failures
• Find ways to quantify digital successes for the executive team
• Audit websites for optimal website health
• Analyze competitors' digital strategies
• Audit digital vendors to ensure we're getting the products we purchase
• Analyze website analytics and vendor data
• Conduct routine online reputation audits
• Routinely make decisions based on analytics
• Ability to personally troubleshoot and fix e-commerce related issues
• Strategic planning, timeline development, and forecasting for all digital initiatives
• E-Commerce goal-setting

Requirements

• 5-7 years in an e-commerce role
• Some HTML knowledge
• Extensive experience with Google AdWords campaigns
• Experience working on the backend of a variety of different website platforms
• Deep understanding of Google Analytics
• Familiarity with Google Business listings
• Solid understanding of Search Engine Optimization best practices
• Exceptional eye for detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
