About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager at The Salvation Army is responsible for enhancing the organization's online presence and driving revenue through effective digital marketing strategies. This role involves collaboration with the Director of Digital Strategy and various vendors to ensure seamless execution of digital campaigns. The manager will leverage advanced technology and data analytics to optimize marketing efforts and improve donor engagement and acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the online giving platform to ensure a seamless donor experience.
  • Act as the day-to-day project manager for Classy, Territorial Digital Agency, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Collaborate with divisions to create and implement innovative fundraising campaigns.
  • Develop integrated strategies for donor and volunteer engagement and acquisition.
  • Lead the development of new online fundraising efforts, including peer-to-peer and crowdfunding campaigns.
  • Utilize AI tools to personalize marketing efforts and improve targeting.
  • Create performance metrics and report monthly to leadership.
  • Analyze data to identify trends for effective marketing strategies.
  • Implement email integration with other marketing channels.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its integration with other platforms.
  • Develop and test innovative email marketing strategies to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and content standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of digital marketing or fundraising experience.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience managing online giving platforms and AI-driven marketing tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data for decision-making.
  • Creative thinking and a strong desire to innovate.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Good judgment and flexibility.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with jQuery and Javascript.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
