About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager drives our digital marketing and social media strategies forward, leveraging their expertise to enhance brand visibility, engage audiences, and ultimately drive growth across various digital platforms. This role involves proactive engagement with all departments to create compelling content that engages guests and tells the story of Hollywood Casino Toledo. The manager will develop, implement, and oversee marketing initiatives across various digital platforms, ensuring brand coherence throughout all channels and accounts. They will also engage with cross-functional team stakeholders to comprehend requirements for web and social content creation, revise and publish web landing pages, and leverage analytical skills to assess the customer journey across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively and creatively engages all departments to create compelling content that engages our guests.
  • Develops, implements, and oversees marketing initiatives across various digital platforms.
  • Engages with cross-functional team stakeholders to comprehend requirements for web and social content creation.
  • Revises, proofreads, upkeeps, constructs, and publishes web landing pages.
  • Leverages analytical skills to assess the customer journey across all touchpoints.
  • Examines, assesses, and quality-assures content for search discoverability.
  • Strategically plans, produces, and publishes content on social media platforms.
  • Collaborates with various teams to coordinate, schedule, and implement content.
  • Develops, captures, curates, and edits visually appealing content.
  • Identifies new opportunities to increase following across social accounts.
  • Responsible for daily response, tagging, and community management.
  • Builds organic community engagement through thoughtful commentary.
  • Monitors engagements and trends to inform new content opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Social Media Manager to define strategic goals.
  • Works closely with the Paid Social Buyer to create synergy between organic and paid strategies.
  • Researches, identifies, develops, and manages programs with social media influencers.
  • Analyzes and reports web and social media analytics.
  • Oversees the business's online presence and addresses online reviews.
  • Handles the opening, closing, and modification of entities on online listings.
  • Complies with all state and jurisdictional regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for all quick turnaround creative needs/implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, PR, media or related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in digital marketing or social media.
  • Portfolio showcasing demonstrated ability in storytelling and social media content creation.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and brand consistency.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale social media accounts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Adaptable and excels in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency with social media and creative software tools.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Strong knowledge of website analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with content management systems.
  • Fundamental comprehension of HTML/CSS.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
