About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager will direct Digital Marketing initiatives for our Pro (US) business unit. This role involves partnering with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to successfully implement Digital and CRM initiatives that support the Pro business. The manager will analyze various metrics, including website performance, CRM data, and the effectiveness of paid and social ads, to develop strategies aimed at enhancing customer experience, increasing engagement and conversion rates, and fostering brand loyalty. The position requires a strategic thinker who can creatively leverage data insights to develop digital tools and experiences that align with Behr's business objectives. In terms of website development and maintenance, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing user experience strategies that support US Pro campaign initiatives. This includes streamlining the Pro customer experience to drive conversion and purchase. The manager will collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Creative Services, IT/QA, Pro Brand Marketing, Pro Sales, and Product Marketing to implement website enhancements and improvements. They will take ownership of web development initiatives, ensuring alignment on functional requirements, design, and UX/UI, while also managing the IT development cycle from kick-off through launch. Additionally, the manager will address any website defects or issues reported by external customers and internal teams, and partner with the Sr. Manager of Digital Analytics to provide detailed reporting and analytics. The role also encompasses CRM program management, where the manager will conceptualize, strategize, and execute CRM initiatives that support the US Pro business's campaigns. This includes working closely with the Content Manager to compose and proof email and SMS/MMS messaging copy, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies to align on CRM support for outreach initiatives. The manager will create and manage a promotional/communications calendar and work with the Sr. Manager of Digital Analytics to provide detailed reporting and analytics. Based on data outcomes, they will propose and develop CRM tactics and campaigns aimed at increasing subscriptions, engagement, and conversion. In terms of project and vendor management, the Digital Marketing Manager will proactively lead all Digital Marketing campaigns for the US Pro business from inception through launch. This includes creating and managing development timelines to align expectations and prioritize efforts with business partners, managing vendor partners, providing direction on assigned projects, and handling purchase orders and invoices.

Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Advertising, Communications, or related field required.
  • 3-5+ years' work experience in B2B digital marketing and CRM programs, including project management experience is required.
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofing skills preferred.
  • Experience in HTML is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
