About the position

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of marketing campaigns that align with our objectives. You'll need a thorough understanding of various marketing channels and tactics, as well as a keen understanding of our brand. In this position, you will develop innovative marketing strategies for campaigns across various channels including SEM, social media, email, streaming, sponsored content, and out-of-home channels. You will perform competitive research to inform keyword and SEO strategies, set up campaigns with clear KPIs, tracking and analysis plans, and ensure consistent reporting across campaigns. Your role will also involve executing integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring timelines align with milestones within enrollment cycles and brand awareness campaigns. You will manage external vendor relationships related to marketing campaigns, monitor and optimize campaign performance, and rebalance budgets based on channel performance and conversion metrics. Additionally, you will create and maintain digital reporting dashboards that allow for cross-channel insights into performance against goals. Establishing, tracking, and analyzing performance metrics and reporting insights for data-informed decisions will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will also manage invoices and payments related to marketing activities and stay updated on trends in higher education enrollment marketing and digital fundraising.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Digital Marketing Manager role or similar for a minimum of 5 years
  • Proficient in Content Management System (CMS)
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Familiarity with database management
  • Proficiency in using Facebook Insights for digital marketing purposes
  • Experience in managing Google Ad campaigns, Google Tag Manager, SEO, SEM, KPI's, Analytics, creating ads from start to finish
  • Proven track record in creating successful advertisement campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Analytics
  • Experience in blogging as part of a digital marketing strategy
  • Proven ability to increase brand awareness through digital marketing strategies
  • Experience in campaign planning and execution
  • Ability to work in a team and lead digital marketing projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field would be advantageous.
