About the position

Eastern Bank is seeking a strong digital marketer to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across all business lines. This role is central to the company's growth strategy, focusing on increasing brand awareness, customer acquisition, and deepening existing relationships through various digital channels. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to optimize campaigns and drive performance, reporting directly to the head of Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Translate overall Brand and Product strategy into a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across owned and paid digital channels.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that paid media campaigns and website content meet specific goals within targeted budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Creative team to develop digital creative assets and ensure consistent messaging across all digital touchpoints.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, SEM, SEO, and display advertising.
  • Develop and implement strategies for lead generation and nurturing to drive the acquisition of qualified leads.
  • Establish a framework for measuring digital channel performance, including KPIs and acceptable ROI.
  • Manage the marketing tech stack, evaluate new technologies, and oversee existing platforms and vendors.
  • Implement SEO best practices for web content to improve rankings and drive traffic.
  • Collaborate with PR Director on shared assets and develop a digital content calendar.
  • Keep abreast of new digital trends and conduct competitive landscape scans.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience across multiple digital marketing channels including Social, Display, Search, Web, Email.
  • Proven experience in SEO/SEM best practices and partnership with data/analytics teams.
  • Experience with B2B and Account Based Marketing (ABM), SalesForce CRM, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Deep experience with Hubspot, ideally as an administrator.
  • Adept with reporting platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Understanding of digital KPIs, performance measurement, and optimization across paid and organic channels.
  • Prior experience in B2B marketing and Financial services industry or FinTech is highly preferred.
  • Quantitative acumen to formulate and execute multi-variate test plans and make real-time adjustments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executives.
  • Successful track record in leading and collaborating with internal and external teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile working methodologies.
