ZMC Hotels, LLC is seeking a talented Digital Marketing Manager to enhance our digital presence and drive value through various online channels. This role is pivotal in expanding our reach across social media, web content, blog posts, press releases, and news articles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong writing background, a deep understanding of social media platforms, and a keen eye for visual design. This position will directly support five entities, including two independent hotels in Duluth, MN, and three unique food and beverage operations in Fort Wayne, IN. The role demands a high level of creativity and the ability to leverage data-driven insights to create engaging content across multiple platforms, focusing on every step of the booking funnel. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating innovative content ideas, and writing for various platforms. This includes ongoing communication with the properties and actively driving marketing operations. The ultimate goal is to deliver high-quality written pieces that resonate with our audiences, attract new customers, boost brand awareness, and support ZMC Hotels, LLC in all communication funnels. The candidate will be expected to create a mix of content, including video, blogs, and imagery, to support social media and other channels, ensuring consistency across all marketing platforms. In addition, the role involves setting engagement and growth goals, measuring performance against these goals, and adjusting strategies based on KPIs and ROI. The Digital Marketing Manager will also be responsible for SEO strategy and execution, optimizing website performance, and ensuring that all messaging is current and compelling. The position requires expertise in B2C campaigns, digital marketing, and optimizing the consumer purchasing journey, with a focus on creating effective partnerships and leveraging external resources to grow the business. The candidate will also manage email and SMS marketing campaigns, ensuring a professional presentation and consistent execution across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics.
  • Generate ideas for new content types and write for various platforms.

  • Manage targeted paid campaigns across media channels and identify optimal ROI opportunities.
  • Create promotional links and develop custom landing pages as necessary.
  • Execute and optimize social media channels, both organic and paid.
  • Manage email and SMS marketing campaigns and grow a robust consumer database.
  • Create compelling video content and professional photography for marketing purposes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a digital marketer.
  • 5+ years of experience optimizing social media channels.
  • 5+ years of experience with paid, referral, affiliate, and organic channels.
  • 4+ years of experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and keyword strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices.
  • Experience with paid social advertising and retargeting/remarketing.
  • Knowledge of optimal user experience to drive consumer optimization.
  • B2B marketing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM software and familiarity with web design platforms.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills to manage multiple projects.
