About the position

La Senza is seeking an ambitious, creative, and analytical Digital Marketing Manager to lead the company's digital growth and customer engagement initiatives. This role is pivotal in managing all aspects of La Senza's digital marketing efforts, including email, SMS, content, social media, paid search, paid social, and affiliate marketing. The ideal candidate will possess a can-do, test-and-learn mindset, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in driving eCommerce growth activities during an accelerated growth phase for the brand. In this position, you will oversee the end-to-end email and SMS production process, which includes campaign scheduling, segmentation, creative development, asset production, vendor management, and analysis. You will develop and execute strategies aimed at maximizing revenue through full-funnel marketing tactics, leveraging customer data to optimize campaigns effectively. Collaboration with Creative Services and Merchandising teams is essential to create impactful email campaigns that align with business initiatives. Performance analysis is a critical component of this role, as you will assist in weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting for digital marketing channels. You will analyze performance metrics, set KPIs, and track benchmarking goals across channels to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, you will drive innovation through customer segmentation and personalization strategies, managing ongoing testing strategies for all digital marketing channels to enhance customer engagement and conversion rates. Conducting ongoing competitor analysis and researching new opportunities will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that La Senza remains competitive in the digital landscape. This role leads a small team across site merchandising and digital marketing functions while partnering closely with Marketing, IT, Planning, Finance, and Merchandising teams to achieve overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end email and SMS production process including campaign scheduling, segmentation, creative development, asset production, vendor management, and analysis.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue through full-funnel marketing tactics.
  • Analyze customer data and leverage insights to optimize campaigns and drive revenue.
  • Collaborate with Creative Services and Merchandising teams to create email campaigns that support business initiatives.
  • Oversee asset management for digital marketing channels, including creative images, videos, copy, and user-generated content (UGC).
  • Assist in weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting for digital marketing channels.
  • Analyze performance and create recommendations to optimize channel performance.
  • Set KPIs and track benchmarking goals cross-channel.
  • Drive innovation and leads through customer segmentation and personalization strategies.
  • Create and manage ongoing testing strategies for all digital marketing channels.
  • Design and optimize email marketing journeys for timely and relevant dynamic communications.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and research new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in digital marketing, primarily email/SMS marketing.
  • Experience in developing segmentation strategies and customer touchpoint plans.
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices including targeted segmentation, effective creative/calls-to-action, testing, customer lifecycle messaging, and triggered messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Strategic thinking, creative passion, and hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and email/SMS service provider platforms.
  • Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo is a plus.
