About the position

The Manager, Digital Marketing will serve as a strategic thinker within Genesis' marketing department and will be tasked with managing the digital marketing strategy and aligning it with broader marketing objectives as set by the VP Marketing and CEO. This role demands a mix of creativity, analytical skills, and an in-depth knowledge of digital, Google Analytics and other digital tools, SEM and SEO (organic and paid), and social media. The Manager is responsible for ensuring that all digital marketing initiatives—such as SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and display and social advertising—are consistent with the company's brand identity and are placed to reach business goals. By focusing on driving growth and improving online visibility, the Manager, Digital Marketing will be crucial in shaping our digital engagement with prospective members and retention with current members. In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and achieve business goals. You will provide direction to the digital marketing team, including content creation, social media, and email marketing. Working closely with the VP Marketing, you will recommend budget allocations and expected conversions for digital marketing campaigns, ensuring resources are effectively utilized to improve ROI and CPL. Utilizing Google Analytics, you will track campaign performance, interpret data, and make data-driven recommendations for better optimization and lead generation. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work with other departments within the Genesis organization to integrate digital marketing with overall business strategies and initiatives. Staying current with digital technology developments and leveraging new tools and platforms will be essential to maintain a competitive edge. You will also collaborate with the VP Marketing and Digital Team to develop social media strategies that engage audiences, increase followers, and drive customer interaction, while improving communication to members and nurturing digital leads. Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing campaigns and measuring the success of these initiatives will be part of your responsibilities, along with reporting on campaign performance. Enhancing the user experience on the company's digital platforms through optimization and personalization will also be a priority. Finally, you will forge strategic partnerships and relationships with external agencies, vendors, and platform providers to enhance digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience (5-7 years) in digital marketing management for a large organization
  • Advanced knowledge of top social channels, Hubspot CRM, and Google Analytics
  • Experience working with digital ad agencies and campaign management for maximum ROAS
  • Excellent collaborator, manager, communicator, with keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills
