About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager at Monro, Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all aspects of website management across the various Monro brands. This position entails managing all SEO activities, including content and keyword strategy, on-page and technical SEO, aimed at enhancing the brands' visibility and rankings on major search networks. The Digital Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a new digital experience and e-commerce platform that focuses on elevating the brands' organic footprint online. This includes collaborating with a web development agency to ensure that SEO best practices are integrated into newly developed code, as well as making recommendations for changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords. In addition to website management, the Digital Marketing Manager will lead and collaborate with the marketing team to identify and execute tests, collecting and analyzing data to inform the e-commerce and SEO strategy. This role also involves tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics, providing insightful recommendations to leadership, and managing vendor partner engagement. The manager will drive continued innovation and best practice implementation, sharing ideas and knowledge with the marketing team, and will oversee the SEO calendar to align with corporate goals and marketing planning. Staying current with industry and competitive trends is essential, as is developing product knowledge within the market to optimize marketing strategies effectively. The Digital Marketing Manager will manage a team and operate under the general direction of the Director of Marketing, ensuring that all digital marketing initiatives align with the company's overall objectives and contribute to a five-star guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of website management across all Monro brands.
  • Manage all SEO activities including content and keyword strategy, on-page and technical SEO.
  • Develop and implement a new digital experience and e-commerce platform.
  • Collaborate with web development agency to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
  • Play a key role in website management, including site architecture and content recommendations.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions.
  • Lead and collaborate with the team to identify and execute tests, collecting and analyzing data/results.
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and provide insightful recommendations to leadership.
  • Act as the key contact for vendor partner engagement and manage expenses.
  • Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation within the marketing team.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis.
  • Oversee the SEO Calendar to align with corporate goals and marketing planning.
  • Stay current with industry and competitive trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance or related field.
  • Google Analytics Certification with a minimum of 3 years of Google Analytics experience.
  • Strong understanding of program measurement and ROI.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and build RFPs.
  • Proven experience maintaining budget and tracking P&L spend.
  • Experience with digital transformation and e-commerce platforms.
  • Expert in Google Analytics (or other analytics software), conversion tracking, e-commerce, and the interplay of PPC/SEO and local search.
  • Extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives under minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets.
  • Proficiency with creative/advertising programs and Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
