The News Literacy Project (NLP) is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. This newly created position is pivotal in shaping our digital marketing strategy and will play a critical role in the marketing vertical by providing technical expertise to power and inform NLP's marketing campaigns. The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Social Media, the Senior Director of Marketing, and the marketing associate to implement and optimize digital marketing and advertising campaigns across various channels, including social media and email. This role is ideal for a motivated individual pursuing a career in digital marketing, data analysis, or digital advertising, particularly within a nonprofit or educational organization. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, coding, scheduling, and analyzing results of paid ad campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. You will assist with the production and analysis of digital marketing via display and programmatic ads, develop and manage a cohesive strategy for optimizing Google Ads campaigns, and analyze and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns across channels. Additionally, you will research and recommend new data-driven approaches to engage with target audiences and provide backup support for social media management when the Director of Social Media is unavailable. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in supporting NLP's mission, exceptional skills in digital marketing and data analysis, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
