About the position

Veson Nautical is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Growth Marketing team in Boston, MA. This role is pivotal in propelling maritime trade through innovative marketing strategies. As a growth-obsessed marketer, you will be responsible for executing and enhancing Veson's global growth marketing and digital strategy. You will create and maintain a comprehensive digital marketing program that includes strategy development, implementation, and success measurement. Collaborating with regional marketers, you will ensure that marketing efforts are effectively executed across various regions. In this position, you will work closely with the content and brand marketing teams to optimize the web experience on Veson.com and associated brands. Your goal will be to continuously improve organic traffic, conversion rates, and user engagement. You will own the strategy and execution of paid digital marketing programs, which encompass SEM, retargeting, display advertising, email nurturing, and paid social media campaigns. Collaboration with in-house content and creative teams, as well as external media partners, will be essential to create optimized content, landing pages, and advertisements that drive top performance. A key aspect of your role will be to establish an A/B testing program across all channels and develop marketing playbooks. You will be data-driven, continuously tracking campaign effectiveness and efficiency, and creating a feedback loop to drive performance learnings across the entire marketing funnel and buyers' journey. Your insights will guide shifts in program audiences, keyword mixes, channels, tactics, and media partners based on performance metrics. Additionally, maintaining an understanding of the global maritime ecosystem, account acquisition trends, and the competitive landscape will be crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Veson's global digital marketing program, including strategy, implementation, and measuring success, partnering with regional marketers to execute as appropriate.
  • Work closely with content & brand marketing to optimize the web experience across Veson.com and associated brands to continuously improve organic traffic, conversion rates, and engagement.
  • Own the strategy and execution for paid digital marketing programs, including SEM, retargeting, display, email nurture, and paid social.
  • Collaborate with in-house content and creative team members and external media partners to create optimized content, landing pages, and ads to ensure top performance.
  • Establish A/B testing program across all channels and create marketing playbooks.
  • Continuously track campaign effectiveness and efficiency and create a feedback loop for the team, driving performance learnings across the entire marketing funnel and buyers' journey.

Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in digital marketing, preferably in the B2B SaaS space.
  • Innately curious with a 'test and learn' mentality and a hunger to demonstrate the latest technology and methods.
  • Expert in using web, paid advertising, ABM, conversion optimization, nurture, and more as part of a comprehensive growth strategy.
  • Proficient in Hubspot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and other marketing tools.
  • Experience with global campaign setup, execution, tracking, and analysis using a variety of external and internal reporting tools, including management region-specific strategies.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with translated and international campaigns preferred.
  • Experience in account-based marketing (ABM) preferred.
