About the position

The Digital Marketing Project Manager will oversee the development of promotional resources for healthcare professional (HCP) customers and enhance an external Sales Portal. This role involves collaboration with various internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while meeting business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Master front-end functionality and user interface of the Portal.
  • Develop promotional and communication materials aligned with segment strategy and regulatory policies.
  • Partner with strategy leads, account teams, and agencies to ensure resources meet business objectives.
  • Coach teams on requirements and standards for resources.
  • Lead promotion review activities for assigned resources, including preparation and routing according to Promotional Standards.
  • Participate in development meetings and concept reviews.
  • Manage development and approvals through Promotion Review processes.
  • Work with legal and regulatory teams to approve materials for assigned brands.
  • Manage Agency partners to achieve successful marketing promotion and communication plans.
  • Interface with Account Executives to obtain feedback on segment resources and communications.
  • Provide project management support for the Segment Strategy team as needed.
  • Participate in annual planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Support day-to-day operations of the Portal, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree or other advanced degree highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Veeva Vault Promomats and Promotional Review Processes and standards; Merck Veeva Vault Promomats knowledge preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Operations related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a nebulous environment without extensive coaching or direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration skills and proficient in building relationships in a team environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates leadership behaviors and maintains alignment to Merck compliance goals and policies.
  • Experience with sales, marketing, or promotion development within the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Experience tracking/monitoring budgets a plus.
  • Experience with vendor management preferred.
