About the position

The Digital Marketing Project Manager at BMC is responsible for overseeing day-to-day project management activities, guiding project management policies and processes, and collaborating with various department leaders to develop projects and programs. This role is crucial in evolving the BMC brand vision and enhancing its reputation as a provider of modern technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate department planning and integration with cross-functional planning, including project kick-offs, discovery meetings, stakeholder reviews, meeting agendas and notes, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, marketing, and creative teams to scope projects, define processes and milestones, and ensure projects are on track to the required release date.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, files, standards, and templates.
  • Communicate priorities, track progress, and coordinate across functions to ensure project milestones are completed on time.
  • Prepare presentation decks and slides as required.
  • Help define project scope, shape consistent work paths, and bring clarity to evolving processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or 5+ years of experience managing web projects, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record for planning, executing, and closing web projects with the ability to manage multiple components simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Experience managing the complete lifecycle of a web project with cross-functional teams of 5 to 25 people using AGILE and Lean methodologies.
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining web project and program plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies, and resource planning.
  • Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, with a willingness to roll up sleeves as needed.
  • Diplomatic approach to influence others at multiple levels of the business and mediate disagreements.
  • Collaborative people person who values strong relationships with employees, peers, and management.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
