About the position

The Digital Marketing Project Manager at Alterra Mountain Company is responsible for overseeing and coordinating digital projects that align with business objectives. This role involves managing both internal and external teams, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of projects, and serving as the main point of contact for stakeholders across various product verticals. The position requires strong project management skills, experience in digital marketing, and the ability to foster collaboration among diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end project management process, including intake of new project requests and developing timelines for deliverables.
  • Manage a cross-functional internal team of 7-9 members, including designers, UX professionals, and content specialists.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders across product verticals, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget, monitoring project milestones and adjusting resources as needed.
  • Utilize tools like Coda and Jira to track project progress and facilitate communication between teams.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, escalating issues to senior leadership when necessary.
  • Foster collaboration between various teams to ensure cohesive project delivery and alignment on goals.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience managing digital projects, including design, UX, content, and development teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Coda (or similar) and Jira; working knowledge of Figma and design systems.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Ability to manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
  • Experience managing both internal and external teams.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • College degree in computer science, marketing, or psychology preferred.
  • Professional/lived experience proactively marketing to diverse audiences.
