About the position

The Digital Marketing Project Manager at Rocket55 is responsible for overseeing client projects and internal departmental requests, ensuring timely and accurate completion. This role requires effective communication, workload management, and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations while driving team success. The Project Manager will also focus on quality assurance, budget management, and continuous improvement within the digital marketing landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Manages projects and recurring requests for assigned clients and internal departmental projects.
  • Breaks down problems and tasks into actionable steps, setting reasonable deadlines, and ensuring accountability.
  • Coordinates efficiently across teams to deliver integrated work.
  • Balances team member workloads, manages resources, and pivots to urgent tasks while maintaining workload capacity.
  • Ensures high quality deliverables through proper QA.
  • Completes or delegates content entry and supports execution tasks.
  • Monitors budget, reports overspending, and assists with time tracking to provide visibility into team time use.
  • Understands team members' needs and communication styles for effective work assignment.
  • Fosters a proactive, detail-oriented, resilient, flexible, and client-service-driven environment.
  • Communicates professionally and promptly to provide necessary information and next steps.
  • Facilitates meetings, sets agendas, captures notes, and ensures detailed follow-ups.
  • Stays updated with industry trends and project management best practices, sharing insights with the team.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a previously held project management related position.
  • Ability to listen attentively to team members, stakeholders, and clients to fully understand their needs and concerns.
  • Proven track record of maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey tasks, requests, and project updates clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings, presentations, and discussions to ensure all parties are aligned.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Proven ability to anticipate potential issues and take proactive steps to mitigate risks.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to analyze situations and make informed decisions quickly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of web development, digital marketing, or related technical fields to effectively manage digital projects.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving team performance.
  • Experience using project management tools and techniques to keep track of deadlines, deliverables, and resources.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed project documentation, schedules, and reports.
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
  • Previous experience with a project management tool like Accelo.
  • Prior knowledge of digital channels such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta/Instagram and Amazon.
