About the position

The Digital Marketing Senior Manager at Verizon is responsible for leading a team focused on enhancing mobile product roadmaps and delivering personalized marketing experiences at scale. This role emphasizes data-driven strategies and technology integration to create transformational experiences for users. The manager will develop an analytics framework, identify feature gaps, and oversee the onboarding of solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing the analytic framework for Site Personalization.
  • Working with operations teams inside and outside digital to identify capability needs based on gaps and pain points.
  • Owning requirements and user stories for all enablement capabilities.
  • Leading day to day tasks required to ensure individual capabilities are delivered on time and by specification.
  • Partnering with the relevant marketing ops sponsor(s) to ensure flawless execution of tests or experiences that leverage new capabilities.
  • Aligning strategies for short vs. long-term solutions across MarTech, Platform, SOI, GTS, etc.
  • Acting as the technical SME on MarTech platforms and capabilities, ensuring project stakeholders use solutions that best support a given use case.
  • Designing solutions using a Customer-Centric Approach and Design-Thinking.
  • Managing the 'best practices' guide based on enablement capabilities and associated PoCs in project stakeholders.
  • Developing use cases for testing new technologies.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Knowledge of Digital platforms and the overall digital ecosystem.
  • Experience in framing an end to end implementation plan for complex data-driven consumer experiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • An Bachelor's, MBA or Advanced degree in Digital Marketing & Marketing Technology.
  • Agile Mindset and Product Owner certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
  • Digital experience, digital marketing, and digital product management either in a business, agency, or consulting organization.
  • Experience in directing the work of others in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong data analytics and quantitative skills.
  • Drive to introduce innovations to an existing process and 'out of the box' thinking mind frame is a must to succeed in the role.
  • Experience working with technical engineers to effectively communicate the technical challenges and fulfill the business needs.
  • Experience working with a service provider (i.e. phone, cable, internet, insurance).
