About the position

As a Digital Marketing SEO Specialist at Standex Scientific, you will play a key role in enhancing our online presence, driving traffic to our websites, and generating leads through effective digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in SEO and Google Ads and a passion for online platforms that will optimize and contribute to the growth of our brands. Your responsibilities will include managing Google Ads campaigns, conducting keyword research, optimizing WordPress websites, creating SEO-optimized content, managing social media profiles, and analyzing data to inform marketing strategies. You will collaborate with various internal teams to ensure that our digital marketing efforts align with our overall brand messaging and goals. Staying updated on SEO best practices and algorithm changes will be crucial to maintaining our competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns to increase visibility and drive targeted traffic.
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research using tools to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for our industry.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to the marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales team to optimize our WordPress websites for search engines.
  • Implement technical and on-page SEO best practices to enhance website rankings and improve user experience.
  • Perform regular website user testing to identify and improve pain points and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-optimized blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and other website content.
  • Assist in managing and optimizing social media profiles to amplify our online presence.
  • Implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush to measure the effectiveness of efforts.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement based on performance data.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to management on the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Competitively analyze competitor websites, SEO, content strategies, and more to inform our differentiation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an SEO role required.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles.
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and WordPress.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and Google Ads platforms like SEMrush, Moz, Optimize, etc.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into clear reports and presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
