About the position

The SEO Strategist at WorkWave will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies for home service clients, aimed at increasing their non-paid traffic, leads, and keyword rankings. This role involves close collaboration with Account Executives to monitor client performance and ensure organic goals are met, while also staying updated on industry trends and tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain SEO strategies and tactics for home service clients.
• Develop custom SEO strategies including content strategies, site structure, keyword research, and optimization.
• Monitor client performance and collaborate with Account Executives to meet organic goals.
• Assist with cross-team projects related to SEO strategy and analytics.
• Stay updated on SEO industry trends and share knowledge with teams.
• Become proficient in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and AHREFs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in an SEO-specific role.
• Experience in creating local SEO strategies that generate results.
• Strong understanding of Google's algorithm.

Nice-to-haves

• Marketing agency experience preferred but not required.
