About the position

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator at GILK Design Build is responsible for developing and managing digital marketing strategies and social media presence to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. This role requires creativity and proficiency in digital channels, content creation, and performance analysis to drive lead generation and optimize marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Manage and grow social media presence on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and schedule engaging content, respond to audience interactions, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Create compelling copy and visual content for various digital platforms, including website updates, blog posts, newsletters, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Update and maintain the company website (Webflow) aligned with marketing goals, using CMS tools to monitor and improve website traffic and SEO.
  • Utilize SEM and performance marketing techniques to optimize campaigns for maximum ROI, conducting keyword research to improve search engine rankings.
  • Collaborate with designers to create appealing visuals for marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and executive teams to plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, tracking progress and analyzing effectiveness.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to monitor campaign and website performance, preparing regular reports to guide future strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and website management (e.g., WordPress).
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite) and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to create engaging, on-brand content.
  • Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, and performance marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of photography and video editing is a plus.
  • Experience with email marketing software and CMS tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the architectural, construction, or design industry is a bonus.
