About the position

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of social media management tools and digital marketing techniques, along with a passion for storytelling through various media formats.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and conversations relevant to the brand using social listening techniques.
• Create, curate, and manage published content across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling posts and analyzing performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives.
• Conduct proofreading of all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Design visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite to enhance posts and campaigns.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Capture high-quality photographs for use in social media content.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and public relations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong knowledge of social listening tools and techniques to gauge audience sentiment.
• Proficiency in Hootsuite or similar social media management platforms.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design needs.
• Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communication.
• Experience in public relations is a plus.
• Strong photography skills to create engaging visual content.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
