About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing all paid performance marketing initiatives for a leading global fashion brand. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing search engine marketing (SEM), paid social media campaigns, affiliate marketing, video advertising, and programmatic display advertising. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for customer relationship management (CRM) marketing, which includes email and SMS marketing, as well as managing customer data and customer data platforms (CDP). The ideal candidate will be expected to develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, execute it effectively, and communicate the results to stakeholders. In this role, the specialist will manage the paid marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation across various channels while balancing acquisition, retention, and branding efforts. The candidate must possess strong analytical skills, be self-motivated, and be comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. The position requires a hands-on approach to channel management, including the development of new ideas, performance analysis, and timely recommendations for budget adjustments. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for conceptualizing content that aligns with key merchandising initiatives and collaborating with internal teams to bring these ideas to fruition. Setting performance goals, tracking progress, and reporting results to senior leadership will be essential components of the role. The specialist will analyze data against key performance indicators (KPIs) to derive insights and optimize digital marketing channels effectively. Furthermore, the role involves identifying and launching new paid marketing channels to drive sales growth and serving as the primary liaison with external agencies to ensure alignment with the company's goals. Overall, this position requires a proactive individual who stays informed about industry trends and best practices, ensuring that the company's digital marketing efforts remain competitive and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all paid marketing efforts, including affiliates, SEM, SEO, paid social, video advertising, and programmatic display.
  • Manage all CRM marketing, including email and SMS marketing, from daily operations to maintenance and data reporting for campaigns and triggers.
  • Act as a hands-on owner of marketing channels, strategizing new ideas, analyzing channel performance, and making timely recommendations for incremental spend.
  • Conceptualize content for all channels based on key merchandising initiatives and collaborate with internal partners to execute.
  • Set goals for channel performance, track performance against goals, and report results to senior leadership.
  • Analyze data against key KPIs to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing digital marketing channels.
  • Manage the marketing budget for efficiency across different campaigns, including branding, acquisition, and retention efforts.
  • Identify and launch new paid marketing channels to drive overall sales growth.
  • Serve as the primary contact with external agencies, ensuring alignment with Club Monaco's goals.
  • Manage technical elements of programs, ensuring accurate data collection and maintaining feed management.
  • Own and manage revenue, spend reporting, and invoice remittance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support business and product priorities.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to enhance marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing in an ecommerce environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in digital marketing or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, ESP, CDP, Meta, and Google Ads.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Deep understanding of audience targeting and ad optimization techniques, especially as measured by ecommerce sales.
  • Comfortable in a collaborative role with many internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to juggle multiple initiatives at once and prioritize independently.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
