About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing the marketing campaign for an upcoming event or seminar. This role focuses on creating and executing email and text message campaigns to drive attendance and engagement, ensuring effective communication with the audience throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an email and text message marketing strategy for event promotion.
• Create compelling content for marketing emails and text messages that encourage attendance and engagement.
• Manage email lists and segment audiences for personalized messaging.
• Send out event invitations, reminders, and follow-up communications.
• Track campaign performance and optimize for higher open rates, click-throughs, and engagement.
• Ensure all confirmations are sent out promptly and accurately.
• Work closely with the event team to ensure consistent branding and messaging.

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email and text message campaigns.
• Strong understanding of marketing automation tools (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact, SMS marketing platforms).
• Ability to create and manage segmented email lists.
• Excellent written communication and content creation skills.
• Experience with data analysis and campaign optimization.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
