About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist for Global Campaigns & Virtual Programs at AWS is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing campaigns that promote AWS's priority solutions and services globally. This role focuses on managing email channels, optimizing digital operations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance customer engagement and experience. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical marketing expertise to implement best practices and drive continuous improvements based on data insights.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the day-to-day management and optimization of the email channel and digital operations for Global Campaigns and Tier 1 events.
  • Collaborates with campaign leads, in-region Field Marketing Managers, Events Marketing, Product Marketing, platform owners, and other internal stakeholders to create the best digital experiences.
  • Drives and makes recommendations regarding how to most effectively engage customers within digital channels.
  • Implements the targeting and customer segmentation for digital campaigns.
  • Develops and executes test plans across all digital channels.
  • Establishes and maintains scalable processes that ensure best practices for email, social channels, paid media, and internal reporting.
  • Provides campaign performance analysis and implements timely optimizations to drive results.
  • Manages the maintenance of a library of assets and campaigns including asset hierarchy and management.
  • Supports localization processes for campaigns in international geographies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • 1+ years of designing, building, and launching successful email engagement programs, specifically lifecycle/nurture programs experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Vidyard, and Excel

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using data visualization tools
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
  • Knowledge of email best practices and A/B testing methodologies within Marketo
  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams
