About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist will coordinate and execute an editorial calendar for various social media accounts while collaborating with staff across different functions to align social media presence with organizational priorities. The role involves tracking metrics, producing digital content, managing archives, and working within a budget to complete projects. The position offers the opportunity to act independently on assigned tasks and requires a strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute an editorial calendar for multiple social media accounts.
  • Collaborate with staff across job functions and geographies to align social media presence with organizational priorities.
  • Track and report metrics and trends relevant to social media accounts and web pages.
  • Make recommendations to iterate social media approaches to reach target audiences and advance conservation goals.
  • Produce digital content for web and email as needed.
  • Manage digital and photo archive.
  • Work within a budget to complete assigned projects or work.
  • Act independently on assigned tasks.
  • Work with vendors/other parties to execute projects/deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience cultivating and managing client/customer relationships.
  • Experience writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience organizing and coordinating multiple projects.

  • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
  • Experience in marketing to diverse audiences.
  • Experience creating and posting social media content on behalf of an organization.
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts.
  • Experience producing web pages and email newsletters.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices for social media metrics reporting.
  • Experience with social media scheduling software (e.g., Khoros).
  • Experience with design software (e.g., Canva) and photo/video editing software (e.g., Adobe CS).
  • Experience with email software such as MailChimp.
  • Experience with web production and content management systems (e.g., AEM).
  • Proven enthusiasm for developing knowledge of social media trends and evolving platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic application knowledge of project management principles.
  • Practical application of marketing concepts.

Benefits

  • Salary: $52,000.00 per Year Depending on Experience, Depending on Qualifications
