About the position

Gardena, a division of the Husqvarna Group and Orbit Irrigation's parent company, is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to enhance the Gardena Brand's presence in North America. This role is pivotal in helping passionate gardeners realize their gardening dreams by developing and manufacturing innovative gardening products. The Digital Marketing Specialist will focus on building the Gardena Brand through various digital marketing channels, particularly Amazon and other online platforms. In this position, the Digital Marketing Specialist will lead the strategy and execution of marketing programs aimed at capturing and nurturing leads from both new and existing customers, ultimately driving sales for the Gardena Brand. The marketing programs will encompass a wide range of activities, including content creation, retargeting, targeted social advertising, billboard promotions, email marketing, public relations, social influencers, trade shows, and integrated sales and marketing campaigns. The primary focus will be on digital marketing efforts across Amazon, retail.com, social media, and other online platforms. Collaboration with team members will be essential for planning and executing promotions, generating content, and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, along with over five years of experience in digital marketing. Extensive experience with Amazon advertising, including Amazon Ads and DSP, as well as proficiency in other digital marketing platforms such as Meta Advertising and Google Ads, is required. Expertise in Google Analytics is also essential for monitoring and reporting on campaign performance. Responsibilities

  • Manage digital and Internet marketing efforts on Amazon and retail.com
  • Link internet marketing to the brick-and-mortar brand marketing and business strategy
  • Own the end-to-end creation and execution of internet marketing campaigns
  • Monitor, analyze, and report campaign performance metrics
  • Create, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across all channels
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quarterly strategic marketing plans
  • Work with Sales teams to ensure alignment on campaign follow-up messaging
  • Manage vendor/agency performance and evaluate new tools
  • Understand attributes of the end user and create target customer profiles
  • Monitor industry trends and competition
  • Keep current on Gardena R&D and product development projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or another relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Extensive experience working with Amazon (Amazon Ads, DSP, etc.)
  • Expert in Google Analytics
  • Experience with Meta Advertising, Google Ads, and other social/digital platforms
