About the position

As a Digital Marketing Specialist & Order Processing Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to enhance our online presence and drive traffic to our website. This dual-role position requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and attention to detail. You will play a key role in processing and managing website orders, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include generating engaging and relevant content for various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, which resonates with our target audience and aligns with our brand. This includes writing posts, creating graphics, and producing video content. You will also manage daily interactions with clients, respond to comments, messages, and emails, and foster a positive community. Addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally is essential. Additionally, you will plan and execute social media campaigns to support special events, product launches, and promotional activities. Monitoring campaign performance and adjusting strategies as needed will be part of your role, along with tracking key performance metrics (KPIs) for social media channels, analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns, and providing regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. Staying updated on industry trends, emerging social media platforms, and best practices will ensure our social media efforts are innovative and effective. You will work closely with the marketing team and other departments to align social media efforts with broader marketing and business objectives. In terms of order processing, you will manage and process website orders promptly and accurately, ensuring a smooth customer experience from purchase to delivery. Assisting customers with inquiries related to orders, including tracking, returns, and exchanges, will be part of your responsibilities. You will also work closely with the Accounting Department to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc).
  • Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages and interact effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated creativity and a keen eye for detail in content creation and campaign development.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with the firearms industry is a plus, but not required.
