About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist (Paid Search) at The Carlson Law Firm is responsible for implementing and analyzing search engine marketing campaigns aimed at generating leads for the firm. This role requires a blend of analytical and creative skills to develop effective paid search strategies and optimize campaign performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing team to enhance the firm's outreach and connect injured individuals with compassionate legal support.

Responsibilities

• Creation of paid search campaigns from ideation to execution
• Creating detailed reports of campaign performance
• Performing keyword research and writing ad copy
• Designing and writing effective landing pages to promote conversions
• Working with other team members to implement a cohesive and integrated strategy
• Proactively identifying ways to improve account performance
• Compiling daily, weekly, monthly, and lifetime reports to quantify results and communicate them to management
• Actively participating in digital strategy and media planning meetings
• Optimizing for YouTube, GMB and other Google platforms
• Staying informed with Paid Search industry best practices, new trends and technologies, and platform updates (e.g. Google Ads, Local Service Ads, Bing, etc.)
• Directory management
• Other marketing tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Must have two years of experience with Google Ads
• Google Ads Certified in at least two topics
• Proven experience managing paid media budgets and channels (SEM, PPC, Display, Remarketing)
• Proven track record of success in helping clients or businesses achieve goals
• Experience copywriting and writing copy for conversions
• Passionate about digital marketing and analytics
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, English or other relevant area
• Experience writing search engine-friendly content
• Basic understanding of website development
