The Digital Marketing Specialist at Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC) plays a crucial role in the execution and maintenance of the casino's digital marketing strategies. This position is responsible for coordinating, developing, implementing, and reporting on various digital advertising efforts, which include paid and owned media, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and display advertising. Working under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager, the specialist will create engaging content and campaigns aimed at enhancing brand awareness and interest in PRC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong brand focus, creativity, and exceptional writing skills, along with a flexible schedule and a diverse technical skill set. Mastery of the Pechanga brand voice is essential, as is the ability to meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. In addition to the core responsibilities, the Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to execute all paid digital media efforts, including social media, SEO, SEM, and website optimization. The role requires a proactive approach to learning and adapting the brand voice when developing copy, as well as working closely with creative teams to ideate and produce advertisements. The specialist will also be responsible for monitoring campaign performance, optimizing ad configurations, and providing monthly progress reports with meaningful analytics. Staying updated on emerging trends in digital marketing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices is vital for success in this role. The position emphasizes a commitment to guest service, aligning with the Four Diamond Service Agreement established by PRC. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be accountable for protecting the assets of PRC while contributing to the overall success of the marketing department.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal stakeholders and external agency partners in the execution of all paid digital media efforts including social media, SEO, SEM, website optimization, and other digital marketing mediums.
  • Collaborate with departments, management, and company leadership to extract and utilize pertinent information for digital and brand campaigns.
  • Quickly learn and adapt brand voice and tone when developing copy.
  • Collaborate with creative teams on the ideation, development, and creation of ads.
  • Coordinate production of assets and content when required.
  • Develop and implement tracking links for campaigns.
  • Monitor all aspects of campaign configuration, launch, and ongoing optimization including ad copywriting, database optimization, budget management, and ad trafficking.
  • Identify ad optimization opportunities through A/B testing.
  • Maintain deliverables calendar to ensure timely deployment of collateral pieces for agency partners.
  • Contribute ideas and programs to the department's advertorial campaign calendar.
  • Research and maintain knowledge of emerging trends in social media, SEO, and digital advertising.
  • Manage Google AdWords and implement keyword recommendations.
  • Allocate tasks to the web implementation team within SEO tools.
  • Make recommendations for changes on web, social, and other online areas to improve search rankings.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of PRC's digital ads and SEO efforts, providing monthly progress reports and analytics.
  • Possess skills to work within social media when needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Associate's degree acceptable with valid work experience.
  • At least three years of agency or in-house experience within the digital advertising field required.
  • One year of casino, resort, hospitality, or tourism experience highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to write concise and accurate correspondence adhering to PRC brand standards.
  • Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations and interpret data.
  • Common sense understanding to carry out instructions in various forms.
