About the position

We are seeking an energetic and organized, digitally-savvy individual to join our Marketing team. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting and coordinating assigned activities, projects, and campaigns relating to the day-to-day, hands-on implementation of online marketing strategies. This position will research, plan, create, implement, maintain, and analyze digital marketing efforts, and social media campaigns for all the Quality Oil Company divisions. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Update and manage company and hotel brand websites with regard to images, metadata, SEO performance, promotions, news & events etc., as well as new pages as needed.
  • Manage all aspects of social media inclusive of content strategy and development, brand, and promotional campaigns, monitoring and analytics to drive consistency, on such platforms as Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc.; maintain the company's excellent online reputation.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily/weekly content that builds meaningful connections and drives consumer engagement across all brands.
  • Create shareable content and make short videos, as needed.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns to marketing team and department heads. Create and monitor digital ad strategy with Google Ads, Facebook Ads and third-party digital partners.
  • Conduct regular audits of 3rd party websites to ensure each retail location is optimized with high quality images, compelling content, and links.
  • Provide customer and employee support with retail divisions loyalty program(s). Develop and maintain content as needed.
  • Conduct mystery shopping audits for hotels and other divisions and report findings to management in a timely manner.
  • Gather and report website and other online analytics including promotional e-mail campaigns. Assist with creation of e-blasts and URL landing pages, monitor subsequent site traffic conversions and leads.
  • Create, maintain, and publish company quarterly newsletters.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

  • Superior organizational, project and time management skills with an eye for detail
  • Exudes a positive attitude
  • Ability to manage tight timelines and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Degree in marketing, communications, or related field (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Wordpress content management system is a plus
  • Experience with SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google My Business
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva is preferred
