In accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Digital Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the college's digital presence, supporting social media strategies, and promoting the SWIC brand across various digital platforms. This position requires technical expertise, as well as proficiency with search engine optimization (SEO) and web analytics and will be responsible for tracking and evaluating website traffic and SEO to optimize organic performance and ensure that the website adheres to market and industry best practices. This position focuses on the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives that engage and attract prospective students, alumni, and other key stakeholders. The individual in this role will assist the marketing department with day-to-day operations and reporting, and other college special projects as assigned.
