About the position

DAR PRO Solutions, a brand of Darling Ingredients, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist who is enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated to learn all aspects of marketing. This role involves collaboration with marketing, sales, and service teams to create effective campaigns that promote the brand and generate demand for products and services. The focus will be on quality lead generation, increasing customer retention, and utilizing the right channels to reach the target audience. The Digital Marketing Specialist will conduct research on industry-related topics, competitors, and customers to identify new segments and opportunities for lead generation and conversion boosts. Responsibilities include planning trade shows and traveling to events to engage and learn, brainstorming and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels such as email, social media, search engines, and paid advertising. The role also involves administering social media content, scheduling, engagement, and analysis, as well as preparing video and image assets or managing third-party design projects. Additionally, the specialist will work with SEO and Google Ad partners to implement strategies that drive traffic to the website, build email templates, contact forms, and landing pages, and write creative copy for ad messaging, newsletters, and product descriptions. The use of CRM to research and automate marketing touchpoints across the customer journey is essential, along with providing regular campaign communication to internal stakeholders and participating in team meetings for feedback. Analyzing marketing data and campaign performance for improvements, assisting with lead pre-qualification, and supporting product launches are also key responsibilities. The role requires staying updated on the latest digital marketing trends and performing general marketing administrative tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and service teams to create effective campaigns.
  • Conduct research on industry-related topics, competitors, and customers.
  • Identify new segments and opportunities to generate leads and boost conversions.
  • Plan trade shows and travel to events to engage and learn.
  • Brainstorm, plan, and carry out digital marketing campaigns across channels.
  • Administer social media, including content, scheduling, engagement, and analysis.
  • Prepare video and image assets and/or manage third-party design projects.
  • Work with SEO/Google Ad partners to deploy strategies that drive traffic to the website.
  • Build email templates, contact forms, and landing pages.
  • Write creative and informative copy for ad messaging, newsletters, and product descriptions.
  • Use CRM to research and automate marketing touchpoints across the customer journey.
  • Provide regular campaign communication to internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze marketing data and campaign performance for improvements.
  • Assist with pre-qualifying leads and suggest tactics to improve inbound lead quality.
  • Support the launch and adoption of products or technology, such as a customer portal.
  • Lead various project calls and communicate deliverables to ensure projects are on track.
  • Keep up to date on the latest digital marketing trends and technology.
  • Perform general marketing administrative tasks and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, journalism, design, communications or related field.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and advertising, including social media, blogging, emails, display, search engine marketing, and marketing automation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a marketing/communications setting.
