About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for enhancing the company's digital marketing efforts and online presence. This role involves developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, managing content, optimizing search engine performance, and analyzing campaign effectiveness. The specialist collaborates with marketing and data professionals to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns across various digital platforms, aligning with the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies in collaboration with the Director of Marketing.
  • Managing content creation and execution for social media, website, digital advertising, and email marketing strategies.
  • Overseeing website updates and blogs using Square Space and other CMS platforms.
  • Optimizing web content for search engines and managing search engine marketing campaigns.
  • Using data analytics tools to monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Designing and executing email marketing campaigns to engage and retain customers.
  • Tracking and responding to member reviews, inquiries, and feedback through digital channels.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of credit union compliance regulations for marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure brand consistency and compliance across digital channels.
  • Staying updated on social and digital marketing industry trends and adapting platforms accordingly.
  • Assisting Community Engagement Manager and Regional Community Development Officers at events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in digital marketing, communication, data science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in digital marketing or a related role.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience with CMS, CRM, and other data-driven tools such as Square Space, HubSpot, and Tableau.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Financial institution experience preferred.
