About the position

Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Marketing department is seeking a full-time marketing specialist who will assist with monitoring and maintaining Kwik Trip’s paid media campaign development and activation across all social and search channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Google Ads). This position offers 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, with occasional optional work outside of standard hours for company events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive search and social marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with Kwik Trip's broader digital initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and departments to ensure that search and social media campaigns align seamlessly with company goals and branding objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of search and social media planning, from content ideation and creation to performance tracking and detailed reporting.
  • Continuously monitor and adapt to the latest trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the digital space.
  • Manage, allocate, and optimize a dedicated digital advertising budget to maximize reach, engagement, and ROI across platforms.
  • Execute sophisticated ad campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Google leveraging both native and third-party analytical tools for insights.
  • Engage with the graphic design team to ensure the creation of consistent, engaging, and brand-aligned content for all social media channels.
  • Compile, analyze, and present detailed search and social media performance reports to upper management, highlighting successes, trends, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in social media or digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of paid media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Search, YouTube, etc.
  • Understanding of strategic marketing practices to align paid media strategy with greater marketing goals and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of core reporting metrics for digital advertising including reach, impressions, CTR, conversions, etc.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills to successfully manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced work environment.
  • In-depth knowledge in MS Office with specific strengths in Excel and PowerPoint to effectively develop presentations and reports.
  • A strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously while working well under deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset and able to work within Excel spreadsheets quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to complete tasks and projects.
  • Ability to present and communicate results effectively to large groups and upper management.
  • Ability to interpret complex data to evaluate campaign performance and make decisions and recommendations based on that data.
