About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports digital marketing content and campaigns to drive market share, new bookings, and brand awareness for our property and brands. This role is responsible for implementing our Marketing roadmap, which includes managing branded websites and paid media. As a subject matter expert, the Specialist drives results by managing brand reputation, digital content, consumer awareness, and lead generation. The ideal candidate has experience with performance media strategies, creative executions, web and social content creation, website maintenance, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns. This person should also possess strong analytical skills, a customer-focused mindset, SEO expertise, and confidence in using new and emerging social, digital, and marketing platforms. Goal-oriented and performance tracking is a must. Ability to understand a marketing plan at a strategic level using knowledge of digital media, web, and user experience. Maintain the company's weekly scorecard for marketing. Identify and highlight any positive or negative trends that should be investigated further, along with a proposed action plan. Plan, execute, and improve on the strategy in coordination with our CMO-On Demand. Deliver reports and adapt future campaigns based on lessons learned to assess the efficacy of the strategy and overall performance of each component in the marketing plan. Support with additional marketing efforts as needed, such as social media, collateral, and other projects. Experience creating, maintaining, and analyzing digital media/web reporting, in particular performance marketing reports. Update sales and other materials, including collateral and website content. Partner with the sales team on marketing requests. Lead the digital media strategy to acquire new customers and raise brand awareness through Google Search, paid social (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), and other third-party OTA booking platforms. Become the go-to person for campaign insights. Demonstrated experience with a methodical, data-first approach to test and improve campaigns systematically. Adhere to budgets, guidelines, and processes while always looking for ways to improve our work. Demonstrated experience with lead generation campaigns leveraging SEO, SEM, social (integrated digital media), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) tactics. Strong SEO, SEM, and content marketing experience, including researching, planning, and executing organic search campaigns. Support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of web presence and branded websites, as well as coordination and timeliness of information on the website. Build landing pages using templates and visual website builders. Create social media posts using our proven content pyramid system. Distribution of Posts, Blogs, and More. Ability to creatively translate our campaign messaging into content for all social platforms in a native context. Implement email marketing campaigns. Bring current trends into our content and creativity. Discover and cultivate new channels for content distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of Marketing or related experience.
  • Email marketing experience with a CRM platform like MailChimp.
  • Experience with tools like Asana, Teams, WordPress, Facebook, Google, etc.
  • Strong writing ability and some graphic design experience.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence platforms to automate processes and outline content.
