About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist at First American Bank is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aimed at enhancing the bank's online presence. This role focuses on both paid and organic digital marketing efforts, with a strong emphasis on paid media and social media initiatives. The specialist will analyze campaign performance, create engaging content, and collaborate with various business units to align marketing efforts with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and track digital marketing campaigns including organic and paid efforts.
  • Analyze data to ensure the effectiveness and optimization of digital campaigns.
  • Develop engaging content for emails, social media posts, paid ads, and the bank's website.
  • Review and update website content to align with business objectives and promotions.
  • Identify opportunities to increase website traffic through SEO and pay-per-click campaigns.
  • Utilize social media to enhance digital marketing efforts and increase engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to user commentary on social media, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of responses.
  • Develop analytics reporting and present findings to executive management.
  • Leverage data analysis to provide insights for updates or changes in marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with multiple business units to align sales objectives with digital campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations in all marketing communications and social media efforts.
  • Conduct additional assignments/projects as designated by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related area required.
  • Minimum of four years of digital marketing experience required.
  • Experience delivering content in multiple formats (written, audio, video, digital media) for at least four years.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic social media or content marketing plans for at least four years.
  • Proficiency in using analytics to measure communication effectiveness.
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HTML and Google products (Tag Manager, Analytics, Looker Studio, etc.).
  • Skilled in using Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.
