About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies for a newly merged painting and home improvements company. This hands-on position requires a creative and data-driven individual who can manage various digital marketing channels, enhance brand visibility, and drive lead generation. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership to implement innovative marketing initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional marketing plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Analyze the market to identify target customers, trends, and competitors.
  • Monitor and adjust marketing strategies based on campaign performance and market changes.
  • Manage the company's social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns including owned and cold email workflows.
  • Oversee search engine optimization (SEO) efforts to improve website ranking and visibility.
  • Run paid online advertising campaigns with an emphasis on lead generation-based promotions.
  • Create compelling content for the company's website, blog, social media, and promotional materials.
  • Produce case studies and project showcases to highlight completed work.
  • Coordinate with photographers and videographers to document remodeling projects for marketing purposes.
  • Ensure consistency in the company's branding across all marketing channels.
  • Maintain and update the company's website and other digital assets.
  • Design promotional materials like flyers, banners, and brochures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Respond to online reviews and comments professionally.
  • Organize customer testimonials and referrals to support marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in organizing local events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Manage sponsorships and partnerships with local organizations or businesses.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using various tools.
  • Report on campaign performance and suggest improvements for future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure marketing initiatives support business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the home improvement or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Email Marketing, Looker Studio and related).
  • Strong communication and writing skills for content creation and customer engagement.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and online reputation management.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve marketing performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graphic design skills (Canva) are a plus.
