About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist at Ascentra Credit Union is responsible for enhancing the credit union's brand across all digital channels. This role involves developing, implementing, and executing strategic digital marketing plans and campaigns, conducting marketing research, and analyzing data to understand behavior trends. The specialist will manage all aspects of digital marketing, including websites, social media, paid online advertising, and content development, while ensuring effective communication with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic digital marketing plans and execute engaging online campaigns.
  • Monitor and stay current on digital marketing trends and technologies.
  • Build and maintain analytics, ROI, and reporting methods.
  • Develop and maintain digital partnerships and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor online reputation and respond to reviews professionally.
  • Manage internal/external communications through various channels.
  • Oversee all facets of the company website and manage relationships with web vendors.
  • Implement SEO, content, and keyword strategies to maximize engagement.
  • Analyze web analytics for user behavior and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Execute online Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns.
  • Develop and implement social media content plans and annual content calendars.
  • Assist with community development and public relations activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams for product launches.
  • Adhere to budget parameters and communicate effectively with supervisors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent certifications.
  • 1-3 years experience with social media tools and analytics software.
  • 3-5 years of website and social media experience.
  • 2-4 years of marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, email marketing, PPC, and SEM.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work collaboratively as a team player.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Looker Studio and Google Tag Manager.
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console and SEMrush.
  • Knowledge of credit union operations.
