About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is accountable for the day-to-day content strategy necessary to maximize the Credit Union's online presence. This role involves planning, page creation, content updates, SEO, and utilizing analytics to enhance the user experience on the website. With a forward-thinking approach, the specialist will leverage various digital mediums to build brand awareness and optimize all stages of the members' digital journeys. The position requires a strong focus on maintaining and advancing the Credit Union's public-facing website, ensuring that search engine optimization (SEO) is prioritized while maintaining content accuracy and optimizing user engagement. In addition to website management, the Digital Marketing Specialist will use analytics to drive proactive improvements to the website. The role demands adept project management skills and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through enhancements and content updates. The specialist will contribute to and oversee content calendars, execute website content updates, and schedule social media posts and interactions. Furthermore, the position involves developing new digital strategies that support Credit Union initiatives, managing business listings and reviews, and demonstrating strong customer service skills in responding to comments and messages. The specialist will also deploy pay-per-click (PPC), paid social, and digital display ads as needed, and must be proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, particularly in automations and journey building.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and advance the Credit Union's public-facing website with a focus on SEO and content accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in a digital media specialist or similar role.
  • Proficiency in HTML, WordPress, and SEO.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Knowledge and previous experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with web design and development software.
  • Understanding of relevant Banking Rules and Regulations.
