About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in the digital and social media team, focusing on executing digital marketing initiatives that align with departmental strategies and overall business objectives. This position emphasizes social media content creation, website optimization, and content strategy development, contributing to the promotion of unique products and services in the digital space. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Helps create and schedule content across social media platforms
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance social media interaction with clients and/or the general public
  • Contributes to the development of social media content as assigned
  • Provides localized social media support for individual business unit social media efforts
  • Collaborates with the creative team and marketing team on social media platform content
  • Assists in developing, executing, and monitoring digital marketing initiatives
  • Manages material creation process and provides assistance to internal clients on using marketing tools
  • Typically follows existing procedures to perform routine assignments and to solve standard problems
  • Analyzes basic information and standard practices to make decisions impacting work performed
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
  • Typically requires 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Experience working with a social media management tool, such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar
  • Experience working with analytical software (e.g. Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Coremetrics, etc.)
  • Experience in working with website optimization tools such as SEM Rush or BrightEdge
