About the position

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at JR Automation, you will be instrumental in promoting the JR Automation brand across various digital channels. This role involves creating and executing digital marketing content aimed at connecting with target audiences and enhancing brand visibility. You will engage with multiple digital platforms, optimizing content for the website, blog, social media, email marketing, and advertising. The position requires strong writing and storytelling skills, along with a keen awareness of digital marketing trends to maintain a modern online presence. This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence in Holland, Michigan, for two to three days a week, with the flexibility of remote work for the remaining days.

Responsibilities

  • Write and design compelling content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
  • Identify gaps to help build content that tells our brand story at all layers of the content funnel from awareness to purchase to retention for identified buyer personas.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with overall marketing and business goals.
  • Use Canva to design email banners, social media posts, etc.
  • Assist in creating and executing social media campaigns to ensure they are carried out effectively and meet defined strategic goals.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content and engagement across all social media accounts.
  • Develop monthly social media content calendars.
  • Assist with CMS content updates.
  • Analyze digital marketing trends to optimize strategies and campaigns.
  • Identify areas of process improvement and design ways to create efficiencies in those processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in a marketing, content development, or communications role in a B2B or agency organization.
  • Experience with content management systems, marketing automation tools (Pardot, HubSpot, etc.), and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset to review email, social, and web analytics to drive improvements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with Canva, Adobe Suite, or other design tools.
  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools, SEO, and/or email marketing.
