About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist role at Vaco involves managing and optimizing content across multiple corporate websites and digital marketing platforms. This position requires a creative and organized individual who will ensure that all digital content is accurate, current, and compliant with regulations. The specialist will also act as a subject matter expert in user acceptance testing and will be responsible for SEO and metadata updates to enhance online visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as primary subject matter expert in user acceptance testing for all digital content and launches.
  • Creates contextually appropriate file types using the Adobe Suite for product launches, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Edits, updates, and reviews existing web content to ensure it meets internal digital standards.
  • Manages, schedules, and publishes product, informational, and marketing content for various business units and company launches.
  • Enters and modifies text and image content into Contentful, fitting pre-existing HTML, CSS components or WYSIWYG content model records.
  • Adjusts image resolution and makes necessary modifications to ensure optimal fit for the website.
  • Performs on-site search engine optimization (SEO) and metadata updates on the site's content and identifies new opportunities for improvement.
  • Partners with the compliance department to ensure web content meets compliance regulations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS concepts.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Suite (Word & Excel primarily).
  • Highly collaborative personality with initiative to drive work forward.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop).
  • Familiarity with Google AdWords and SEO/SEM campaigns.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks with interruptions.
