The Digital Marketing Specialist at MemorialCare plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's online presence and patient acquisition strategies. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for executing and reporting on various digital growth initiatives, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), management of online directories, and online reputation management. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all digital marketing efforts align with the overall goals of the organization, which is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services across Orange and Los Angeles Counties. In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will assist in the development and execution of SEO strategies aimed at improving organic search rankings and increasing website traffic. This includes conducting keyword research, optimizing on-page content, and analyzing performance metrics to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. The specialist will also manage online business listings on platforms such as Yelp, HealthGrades, and Google Business, ensuring that all information is accurate and consistently updated. This aspect of the role is crucial for maintaining a strong online reputation and driving lead generation through various digital channels. Additionally, the specialist will monitor and manage the company's online reputation, responding to customer reviews and developing strategies to encourage positive feedback. Project management skills are essential, as the specialist will track projects across the Digital Marketing team, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met. Regular analysis and reporting on the effectiveness of SEO, lead generation, and reputation management efforts will be a key responsibility, allowing the specialist to provide insights that optimize performance and keep the organization competitive in the healthcare market.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, and content analysis to enhance search engine visibility.
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure all appropriate MemorialCare facilities and providers online listings are accurate and consistently updated.
  • Manage and optimize online business listings on platforms such as Yelp, HealthGrades, PDC, Google Business, and other relevant lead generation directories.
  • Ensure consistency of business information across all directories, including hours, services, and contact details.
  • Implement strategies to drive lead generation through online directories, phone calls (Invoca), and other platforms.
  • Track and analyze lead performance, providing regular reports on key metrics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that maximize lead conversion.
  • Monitor and manage the company's online reputation across all platforms, including review sites and social media.
  • Respond to customer reviews in a timely and professional manner, addressing both positive and negative feedback.
  • Develop and implement strategies to encourage positive reviews and improve overall ratings.
  • Track projects across the entire Digital Marketing team and own status within project management tools to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Regularly analyze and report on the effectiveness of SEO, lead generation, patient app, and reputation management efforts.
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO, SEM, online directories, and reputation management.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience managing online business directories and platforms such as Yelp, HealthGrades, Google Business Listings, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights and create reports with attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to work successfully with multiple internal and external teams and adapt to changing dynamics.
  • Experience in Project Management tools such as Monday.com and Trello.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, research, and relationship management skills, with the ability to articulate creative and technical concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented environment.
  • Strong time management skills and detail-oriented.
