About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist position at the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) is a pivotal role that focuses on developing and implementing marketing strategies for the Center For REALTOR® Development (CRD) credential programs. This position is located in the Chicago, IL office and reports directly to the Director of CRD Marketing & Events. The specialist will be responsible for creating comprehensive marketing plans and communications aimed at recruiting and retaining designees and certification holders. This includes managing social media content for all CRD products, events, promotions, and courses, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategies of CRD. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both traditional and emerging marketing channels, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach to marketing. Creativity and innovation are essential, as the specialist will need to craft engaging content that resonates with members and consumers alike. Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role, as the specialist will be tasked with producing promotional copy for various platforms, including print collateral, e-newsletters, social media, blogs, and websites. In addition to content creation, the Digital Marketing Specialist will track the success of marketing campaigns across digital channels, including social media, search engines, and email marketing. This involves developing and managing a social media content calendar, executing strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic, and analyzing social media metrics to refine marketing strategies as needed. The role may also include other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the CRD marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications to promote select CRD credential programs.
  • Write and manage promotional copy for print collateral, e-newsletters, social media, blogs, and websites.
  • Create and distribute engaging, inspirational, and useful content that connects with members and consumers tying back to select CRD credential programs.
  • Work with Director to develop new member benefits and maintain existing ones.
  • Track the success of marketing campaigns across all digital channels, including social media, search engines, and email marketing.
  • Develop, execute, and manage social media posts for CRD's LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram channels.
  • Create and manage a social media content calendar.
  • Assist with developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, and content development.
  • Exceptional writing & communication skills for multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator preferred.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Must be a team player that is also comfortable working independently.
  • Strong member relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries.
